~A tad different Court ruling~

>> Roxbury MA (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the
>> center of a Boston
>> courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court
>> ruling over who should
>> have custody of him. The boy has a history of being
>> beaten by his parents
>> and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt,
>> in keeping with child
>> custody law and regulations requiring that family
>> unity be maintained to the
>> degree possible.
>>
>> The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that
>> his aunt beat him more
>> than his parents and he adamantly refused to live
>> with her. When the judge
>> then suggested that he live with his grandparents,
>> the boy cried out that
>> they also beat him.
>>
>> After considering the remainder of the immediate
>> family and learning that
>> domestic violence was apparently a way of life among
>> them, the judge took
>> the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to
>> propose who should hav e
>> custody of him. After two recesses to check legal
>> references and confer with
>> child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary
>> custody to the Boston
>> Red Sox, whom the boy firmly believes is not capable
>> of beating anyone.

Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.

And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written!

Lately...

I know this is off topic, but ya know about how with kids, one should say...here let's do this...not...stop it!...?

Well, i wuz thinking about you maybe doing some of those ideas you had about posing. It would be a wonderful energy boost for everyone(including thee), and I'm sure intensely appreciated...LOL

and if someone were to make a special video for an old friend, I can't think of a better way to distract from the tone of current events....

ya know what i mean?

If that's in the cards, of course.

I think it's time to switch channels.

Never forget Tommy's rules for Depression. They're pretty much mine, too....lol.

So much love always,

and

kisses from the heart,

I grew up in CT on the dividing line between Red Sox territory and Yankees territory. To this day, many people in my home town consider raising your child to be a Red Sox fan is tantamount to child abuse...
