Just a nice lazy Sunday...

Ahh, Sunday. No having to go into work. No swim class for the child. Only plans to meet up with another family for a movie (Robots) and dinner.

Started the day by putting a Dora DVD on the TV for the youngin so Mommy and Daddy could play (see, it's really not just the ladies here I'm playing with, just seems that way some weeks). Nice relaxing start to the day.

Dropped over a hundred bucks at Costco (is it possible to go to Costco and not spend at least $100?) before getting ready to head to the movies.

Plans shifted a bit when the other couple's daughter decided to be a pain... 45 minutes of timeout later she was still the same. So, no movie. Changed that to dinner at their place - leaving real soon now, as soon as our wee one awakes from her nap. That ought to be the place to be... hope she's improved her attitude or it's gonna be a short evening.

Hope everyone's had a nice weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow for us office types.

Had a few people over for lunch this afternoon. Was a nice visit. Turned out to be a nice day outside, as well...

BTW: The IMAX at The Henry Ford is showing "Robots." It's on The List of movies to see very soon - Like full-length animated features myself, and will opt to see it in IMAX, definitely!

Back to the cube farm for me tomorrow as well. Bleck!

Thanx for the weekend wishes, mine turned out great!

I highly approve of your parenting technique. Kids want to know three basic things...

1) Who is in charge?
2) What are the rules?
3) What are the consequences for breaking the rules?

(oh yeah, they also want to know "what's for dinner?")

Jeeze, I want an editing feature in the blogs! That smiley is supposed to be a "close" parentheses.
