Happy, happy, joy, joy

What a beautiful day... 70 degrees, sunny, and out of the blue playmate number two calls to see if we can arrange a playdate for tomorrow. Great timing since I'd already arranged to be at work for most of the day anyway. I'll kick off a little early and meet her for a great time. Gotta love her... absolutely no strings... no desire to leave hubby... just wants more... and she looks great. No way anyone would ever believe she's 49.

Playmate #3 and I are meeting in the morning before work too. Probably just another make out, feel each other up session, but I'm not complaining. God, I'm like a kid with free reign in a candy store! If they don't kill me, they're sure going to help me lose the extra weight I've been carrying around.

Let's all do the Happy Dance of Mepos!

(OK, who gets the two television references??)

And you were thinking #2 wouldn't contact you again. Hope it's as good-n-hot as you were hoping!

(From another post) *I'm* thinking that your ad now - not that I, honestly, ever came across your original one - is very clear, honest, humorous (which is indeed important), lists exactly what is 'required,' what is nice-to-have but not required, etc. And says what you are willing to give. Women 'round 40 don't want to sift through stuff - time is precious - so much life is happening... I answered Shawn's ad on Netscape and it was very similar to yours - Nothing sugar-coated, no Barry White wannabee....

Like the pictures on the ad too. Those are important - got a lot of response with the new set of pics (one of which was your recent comment). I think, though, with the quality of your ad, it just mayu have worked without the pics. Much to be said for that too. Nice job!

That's my take, at least. Bein' 40 and all.

Hi Mary!

Glad to see you reading my blog. I really appreciate the review of my profile too - #2 helped me rewrite it a bit, but since the original caught her attention I guess it couldn't have been too bad.

Turns out #2's mother is sick and she's been unable to play - though she has been dropping in here every few days. It was the unanswered emails that had me thinking I'd done something to scare her off. Saw her name pop up on the cell phone today and almost had a heart attack. It's kind of hard to talk about these things in a cubical at the office so I slipped outside to chat. Unfortunately, I forgot what time it was and managed to get locked outside the building with my keys lying on desk. Fortunately, a couple of ladies were talking in the parking lot and let me back in. Could have been real embarassing if I'd had to knock on the windows and beg someone to let me in.

And, I still love that photo of you. <drool>

Ren and Stimpy and Perfect Strangers. I'm actually kind of ashamed to admit I remember Perfect Strangers. But in my defense I don't think I watched it for more than 1 season.

I have admit that I never really watched either show, but being the info sponge (but not Bob) that I am, I tend to soak up a lot of pop culture references. Ren & Stimpy just seemed very appropriate for my mood.

Perfect Strangers! THAT's it! I was thinking about that all morning! I kept seeing the Eastern European-ish costume, and hearing "coo-zin." Glad that's out of my head - now I can go one with life! Never watched more than a couple partial shows, though - quite a memorable character. And dance, make no mistake...

OK, that was way too easy... especially since I gave one away with the picture. I'll have to come up with some others, just to see who the couch potatoes really are.
