crash into me

question everything, question nothing
twenty-nine palms, the writing's on the wall
ran into the fork in the road
dont tell me its not worth fighting for
everything i do, i do it for you
raise the bar, so high like im a star
did job deserve to lose everything but his wife?
did karma bring his boils? what goes around
comes around, isnt always the rule
have you considered my servant?
no weapon formed against us will prosper
must be proven, believed into being
living sacrifice of men and mice
have a bad dream? wake up and change it
hope, the true point of no return
dream dreams signs and wonders
save lava girl and shark boy

from the heart
I don't wanna be right
it's been such a long time
waiting for you tonight

long and winding
happy to see you again

I feel the earth move
you've got the power
be true to yourself
how can I try to explain
when mountains crash to the sea
tangerine just call my name
let's dance the night away
hoping you're okay

I left the ice cream parlor, went back out on the sidewalk.
A wet wind hit me in the face. Moonlight illuminated the
glistening leaves and my footsteps disturbed a courtyard of cats.
A dog snarled menacingly from behind a wrought-iron fence.
Even with all the churches and temples and cemetaries,
New Orleans doesn't have the psychic current of holy places.
That's a cold frozen fact. In a lot of places you have to
change with the times. It's not necessary here. I got back
to the house, went into the kitchen and sat there for a while,
listened to Brown Sugar. She was playing "Dangerous Woman"
by Little Junior Parker. Then I went upstairs and crawled under
the sheets. Glad I saw the place firsthand. Where teardrops fall.
