How Many Names Do You Have?

So how many names do you have, I have 2, the name by birth mother gave me, and the name my adoptive parents gave me which is the one I use, some of you I have trusted enough to give you my 1st Name, to many others on here I'm just Madkitten, I only have 1 handle, I have been a member of this site on other occasions, but you can never use the same handle twice, I am also registered as madkitten on Alt. My email address I use for this site and alt, makes no mention of madkitten, that is because the email address came before the kitten, but its another animal, I tend to use animals as I find this stops spam. When I created that account, for 1st and 2nd names I only put my initials, why because I didn't feel comfortable putting my full name, but if you get as far as getting my email address, you know that the 1st initial is the one I use, so I assume you expect that the 2nd initial must also be mine, I don't think I'm hiding anything, if you asked I would tell you, but I don't consider it important that you know my surname, unless we are considering taking things further.

But if you tell me your name is Fred, and then when I get an email from you it says George, I'm going to wonder what else isn't adding up here, handles are anonymous, but if you trust someone enough to give them your email, then you must also trust them enough to give them your correct 1st name.

I have been around the block a bit as far as the Internet is concerned, I have been in msn chat rooms and groups, where people have even managed to enter under my name or handle, I understand why people have to be careful about what information they give out, but I'm sorry if we can chat by email or IM I usually expect to have got past the stage where a 1st warning light has shone, there maybe other lights to come on later, but not about 1st names.

I have had a few occasions when things haven't always added up about people on this and alt.

I had a woman want to meet me, but she was listed on Alt as a TV, I have nothing against TVs, but she said it was a long story and she would tell me when we met up, sorry but not meeting up until I hear the full story.

I had a woman listed as wanting a playmate for her and her Master, but the only person I ever got correspondence from was him, never her, I even went as far to agree to a meet, and then it hit me, what if she didn't really exist, when I told him that's why I didn't turn up, I never received a reply.

I had another guy on Alt who I exchanged loads of emails with him, we even agreed to meet, then his last email to me, said I cant wait to do all those perverted things to you, "sorry but perverted", if you think what we have talked about on Alt is perverted then you are not thinking along the same lines as me, I'm sure true Masters will agree with me, you do not consider your ideas as perverted, even if those in vanilla relationships do, so this gave me another warning light.

There has been only couple I have met from Alt, in fact off anywhere on the interent and this is what I knew about them before we met, both their addresses, telephone numbers mobile and landline, business details, where he could be found on a Wednesday night, what schools the kids went too, I could go on, but I think you get the message I knew as much as I could know about any friend.

I know this subject has been done over and over again, but I just wanted to tell you of some of my experience's and explain why I would be so careful, you only have to read [blog saintlianna] blog CODE RED that tells you how careful you have to be.

This is a really good and timely post, madkitten. I think there is always a risk when discussing online. You can't see an animated face, or body language, or hear the tone of voice, all edditional cues (and clues) that help us to make decisions in dialogue. And, sadly, there are those out there who see and take opportunities to deceive. warm xx

Too true, George! There are, unfortunately, a lot of dangerously sick and twisted individuals out there. A person has to be cautious, regardless of their gender, when meeting away from the technology.

Folx like that are giving us sick n twisted individuals of benign tendencies a bad name!

Fred

Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.

And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written!

Lately...

I have a few names, and they are all me. In different times in my life I have gone by different names, and I find myself in a weird place now where I fequently associate with many people from multiple time periods so I sometimes answer to three or four different names all in the same day. I try to keep it simple and just go by five-speed or fiver while on AdultFriendFinder.
