The Secret of a Good BBQ: Part 2

Make up my special 'Basting' Sauce and baste the meat liberally with it.

What's that I hear you say? What's the recipe?

You remember what I told you I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you!!!!!!!!!

Come on folks, it took me years of searching, testing, slaving, trial & error, criticism, self doubt, before I found the perfect recipies in the Readers Digest Cook Books: by the way if any of you have any influence with the nice folks at the Readers Digest will you tell them to for fucks sake stop sending me those Prize Draw Entry Forms. Tell them I'm already a Millionaire.

What am I having for the BBQ I hear you ask; o.k. I know you hadn't even thought of asking but I'm gonna tell you anyway, whether you like it or not.

I'm having a steak, two pieces of chicken, my own freshly prepared Garlic French Baquet and a salad of lettuce, baby tommatoes, red onion and pepercorn smothered in my own recipe for French Dressing (o.k. Readers Digest Recipe).

To drink I'm having a 'cheeky little bottle' of Santa Rita, Savignon Blanc, Reserva (or as much of it as I can drink before I fall down )

Wouldn't normally mix steak & chicken but had a steak over (marinated) from last nigt so I'm using it up. And the chicken is to die for on a BBQ if cooked properly. Succulent, tender, moist (hang of folks, I'm still talking about the chicken here )

Anyway I'm cooking away here so hang on in there for Part 3.
