Strawberries & memories

Just now, I was eating some fresh strawberries and was reminded of one of my first (and favourite) lovers. I haven't seen or heard from him in almost two years, but the taste of strawberries can still remind me of the first time we were together.

We shopped for strawberries, fresh pineapple, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and wine, a veritable lover's feast. The first time he kissed me, it was in the middle of the champagne aisle at the liquor store - almost five years later and still I can't go by there without thinking of him.

I remember how he pressed me against the door of his apartment, kissing me and running his hand up my leg. I remember being so nervous that I almost left - but also being glad that I stayed.

He set a futon mattress on the floor of the living room, lit candles and put on music while I readied strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream. All were used in creative & inventive ways.

I can still remember how his body felt pressed against my back, his arousal evident in both his breath on my neck and the way he pushed his hips - and that's not all - against me.

I long to be with him just one more time - that's all - so that again I can feel everything I felt that day. Passion? Indeed. Lust? Absolutely. Damned good sex? Hell yes. I'm happy to say it only got better.

I remember the time he brought over his toys for the first time; or the time he introduced me to light bondage; or the first time we had sex after he got his Prince Albert; and I especially remember our last time together. He was always a little bit kinkier than my other lovers and spending time with him was always exceptional.

Do I measure others against him? I try not to and usually succeed. Every lover has their pros and cons - he had his share of cons.

Do I wish I could still see him? Of course.

Did I learn a lot? Hell yes. But you'll just have to trust me on that...
