Deal...or No Deal
Deal...or No Deal
well...I was going to play along
and post a poll...
but you can't post images...so here we are.
..........I need pictures...
(that IS/was why I bought Playboy...
...As an aftermath
of the nightly bombardment
of the airwaves
by Howie Mandell and his reality show,
teams of bald headed, ear ringed salesmen
will swarm the land
and smilingly brandish their open briefcases
offering the next best
What say you?
Deal? or No deal....
the clock will be ticking...

Thank you all for the comments...|
...that people don't know what the show is, is an encouraging aspect, to me. It is yet another show, where the 'star' is booty...capital,product, stuff. And the lineage of the delivery is that you 'get it' ( Yay!!!). or you don't...( oooohhh!!!), and either is considered some kind of cathartic endeavor into emotion.
I tend to view these shows as if they are in a foreign language...I focus on the repetition, because I know it is there for a reason. The repetition is....the briefcases. The briefcases are all containers for money, and they are accompanied by 'starlets', smiling at your bright future. Ahhhh, but wait...you don't know what's in there, and we need to negotiate any and all areas of obscurity. Maybe you would settle for......????
The economy in this country is crap. That's why gambling, and lottery, and these ignorant shows are so successful. It's also why there aen't enough morally compassed folks to draw from. "Create the imbalance, market the solution"
This is what is happening to Health Care here... When the President spoke about 'Entitlements' being too heavy...he wasn't talking about welfare... He was talking about the average age in this country, and the costs of paying back... yes back, all those 'baby boomers'. I guarantee you that he is wetting his pants about the average age in India. Now THAT is Christmas. Young, entry level, moldable...cheap...uninvested...
Someday, when things devolve a little more, there will be a reality show about food. Dozens of people who want it, need it, and the lucky few who will have it, after they have accomplished their tasks. And 'people' will eat it up.
to not know
a useless thing
is not ignorance.
to know it is.
