I love you....I am lying

It is a drug when you feel wanted and lusted for by someone.I met a man on another site and he sweet talked me and told me how beautiful I was until I believed it. To find out later what a total liar he was has left me hurt and feeling totally stupid. I thought he was inlove with me, that's what he said........I am 48 ,you would think I was smarter than that, but it still hurts.I find myself very cynical at this point. I nearly left my husband of 23 years for this bafoon. What kind of fool am I?

I find it so hard to let my guard down because things like this happen. You just have to move on. We all learn and it's situations like these that make us strong. Sometimes, I feel bionic!

Like you said, it's a drug. Sometimes you are just ready to "fall in love", even if you have a lover already. You're lucky that you didn't get in so far that you REALLY messed up your life. I hope it doesn't happen again- but sometimes you just NEED that special feeling from having someone new tell you all the things you want to hear.
By the way, you really do have a beautiful body!

First of all he is a dog (unlike wyatt but a dog just the same). And yes being 48yrs. old you probably should have known better. Most men, even if they say they don't will say anything (sadly enough) to f**k a woman that really turns them (on). Conversely seldom will they whisper sweet nothings to the woman they do love. Certainly not true of all men but a majority I wager. What you should have done when you realized the ploy was straddle him and f**ked him till his top plate fell (out). Then as you walked out the door without uttering a word beforehand replied " you should really do something about your submissive tendencies, it's become quite a bore". And proceeded right on out leaving it all hanging out to dry. t

K, first off; FUCK (not litterally) any other guy who doesn't wear the band you gave em! You have a trust, bond and sanctity that no man or woman can challenge unless YOU let them. Also, the world is full of talkers, and talkers always want what they can't have cause all they know is the talk, but not the walk. Quit falling into the socialgical trap of being judged and believing the judgment despite you having your own voice, and that voice is the only voice that matters. Next up, we're all HUMAN. No one is perfect, and thus we are entittled to mistakes. Some more drastic than others. But, remeber this about mistakes: they're the keystone to learning, and the more the mistake hurts you, the more you've learned from it to be a stroger person.
