THE FIRST TIME I GOT LAID OFF,,,

i was working in a shoe factory,,and i really needed that job..so i went to the library and checked out a book on leather braiding..bought a box of scrap leather from same company that laid me off and started out with mocassins and high top boots...key chains and misc. small items and grew from there.. i was determined to never be dependent on someone else for either money or a job..everything i ever made sold..i do not have much stock for things are one of a kind, i enjoy the creation process not the moneytary rewards.. so the amassing of wealth is not my motive for work...but it provides my needs...ask a wealthy person how much money is enough,,and how many can truthfully say they are content with what they have already..i have only heard you can never have too much....perhaps i am in error,,but money doesn't really interest me,part of my insulation of it's temptations...if i have it , great,,if not i do without until i have it again....my peace level does not change with my pocketbook...

Most people live on a level of how much money they have. Take away the money and what do you have people?

Most of my desires do me do good at all, if I have to carry them out.

My handle is somethingelse40 but you're really something else!
