Yeah, read a good book. Take a long drive to somewhere you haven't been yet. My favorite thing is to call an old friend I haven't spoken to in a while.

Or lately, come on here and make such an ass out of myself on my blog that other people can laugh with me at the absurdities of what might be bothering me. Or just laugh at me.

When i am down (assuming i have money that is) i find going out for a meal good food, and good wine, just what the doctor ordered.
then again a long hot bath and death by ridculous quantities of chocolate is also a winner for me and finallyif there there are any nice open hilly places where its breezy a good long walk does wonders (living down south for me this is of course up in the downs - hmm up in the downs well theres an oxymoron or its seems like it)

1) Wales! I have a place in mid wales on the coast, overlooking dunes/beach and it has never failed to clear the mind & revive the body and spirit. I always forget all those everyday worries, stresses and hassles - and just smile!

2) With a girl that 'fits' and that can kiss so well it makes my mind spin and my worries fade away.

3) Playing guitar - always a good way to chill out & relax when you get back from work

5)In the company of interesting, inspiring and genuine friends.

I like to find a woods or forrest to take a long walk in silence through. Only you and nature exist there, close your eyes for a minute and just listen. Take a deep breath in, and realize that your alive. Your problems, your anger, your worries...., don't seem to matter as much anymore, coz it's all put into perspective.

If you work in the town, there's a bit of grass behind the moathouse hotel, and on a sunny day its a lovely spot. Unfortunately its also popular with the drunks!

If you like squirrels, there are loads in the St. Giles' Street Churchyard, and they sometimes come up to you and eat from your hand.

Best bet would be the hospital grounds at the three shires. There's a lovely church and its always quiet.
