A New Day Dawns...Thank Goodness

AHHHHHH...a new day dawns and I am refreshed. I am ready to take on the world...and win of course LOL. Much thanks to all that got me through yesterday. You people so ROCK!!! (and you know who you all are )

So much stuff going on yesterday and I just wished I could've left the house (SirMounts you were so very right...but I couldn't take your suggestion). Had to stick around and wait for my last paycheck and reference letters to arrive. (they can lay me off cause they can't afford me but they can afford a courier to get my papers to me so I don't have to go downtown and pick them up...sheesh ). Still waiting on my seperation papers, 3 weeks of pay in lieu of, my vacation pay and my monthly bonus. Those will come in time. I can wait for them a few weeks and be fine.

And on a personal note, my best friend made it through yesterday. It was a rough day for him. Thought we wouldn't get to touch base in person for a couple more days but turns out we'll get to grab a coffee today. I don't know why but he makes me smile. Things are just better when he's around. Don't know what I'd do without all my friends. Damn they are good people.

Back to the job hunt. So, gotta get word up and running so I can transfer my resume over from an online job search agent...and print it off. I've punched up my resume and it's damn good if I do say so myself...and I do LOL. Plus I have canadian experience to put down this time around which is a huge plus for me. Last time I was looking for a job, I was actually told that not having canadian experience was an issue. The issue is now resolved .

Yeah...today I'm optimistic and happy.
