Work Sucks, And Not In That Good Way.

I just got off of work. It doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment, but I have just spent 13 hours of my life in a high humidity, 94 degree kitchen. So what, you say? well I am not a kitchen person. I belong in an automotive shop. There is nothing that makes me happier than working with my hands. Well, there is sex of course, but I don't get enough of that. I am actually quite sure that there are no two girls that could wear me out. But back to working with my hands. I love taking things apart, replacing whatever is worn out, broken or bad and reassembling them with good parts to make them work again. Somehow I ended up in a kitchen in a BBQ restaurant, washing dishes, prepping food, and making those goddamn salads that everyone loves so much. You see, I have to keep up with a constant flow of dishes, prep food, and make salads. "Drop what you're doing, we need another salad." So. I stop. I make a salad. and find myself an hour behind on the fucking dishes. I would love to be replacing a transmission right now. At least then everything has a place it goes, fits, and fucking works. Here I have to hunt for things, get approval on the "aesthetic value" of salads, and try not to slip and fall on my ass because the floor is wet. I can do ANYTHING. All I need is a chance. Why is it the only places that will give me a chance are the LAST PLACES I would want to work?

That's sounds sad. I'm sure things will get better for you. Be aggessive and make it happen and have faith in yourself. I don't know if this helps you, but good luck.
