Why we stay in unfulfilling relationships

I have found as I chat with others that sometimes we stay in relationships because we are afraid of being alone or afraid of not finding someone who is a little better than the one we are with. What are you looking for? Why stay in something that is not fulfilling to you and be miserable? Sometimes love does wierd things to us and sometimes we get blinded by what we think is love and think that the yelling, screaming, shouting, neglect, cheating, disrespect is deserved when with someone for a long time. Well let me tell you this. NO ONE not men or women need put up with just pure disrespect and now loving attention and deserve so much more in life. There are people out there that want to love you, that want to tend to your needs and want to know you are happy and loved. Sometimes we get cuaght in a revolving door and dont know how to get out and this is true for straight and gay people. You see we are raised and see things and seem to get stuck in the ways of those who we were raised around. We seem to veer towards, bad homes, yelling, disrespect, name calling and non communication. Each and every one of us are unique in our own ways and deserve to be loved for who we are and what we need. We dont deserve to be crapped on and made to feel like we will never be loved by anyone. Believe it or not, there is someone for each of us and we will find the gold at the end of the rainbow as long as we dont give up and we find that within ourselves the strength to let go of the unloving ways and move on to women, men or whoever to love us. Find your saulmate, because you deserve it and get out of the cycle of feeling used and abused, because you deserve so much more. Take that first step and feel the peace you find from just saying get the hell out of my life I am someone and can find the right one for me. Know within yourself that there is life out there and you can do anything as long as you make the first move.

You have to truly love yourself before you can accept true love from others. Those who stay in abusive or unequal relationships may have low self esteem or bad self-image. When you improve your self worth, you will expect respect and won't settle for less.
Have a beautiful day!

You forget the poor sap who pines away for someone that ignores him. No abuse, it isn't worth her time to abuse him.

Sorry, just a rant.

Wild yes I understand that one also. Sometimes we do pine away for someone because they ignore us and hang in and hope things get better. U hang in there someone will come along for u.
