Happy 5th

Which means something completely different to Celtic persons! But then you knew that, didn't you?

Amazingly enough, there are extremely few cultures in the world who do NOT have something to take the edge off of daily life. Various alcoholic beverages abound and then there are various vegetative sources about which I do not have to tell you. Others make do with some sort of estatic religious experience or just work themselves into exhaustion so they do not have to think or deal with whatever it is that is annoying them at that moment.

Which makes the Celtic people's love for a mighty party positively benign!

Aye, lassie.

It is a cross-quarter day, marking the midpoint in the Sun's progress between the Vernal Equinox and Summer Solstice.

As good a reason to get nekkid and party as any I can think of...!
