She's a Rebel

I was dirving to work today listening to my favorite music when I realized that alot of the songs I like have verses in them that explain parts of my personality. Here they are:

"She's a rebel, she's a saint, she's the salt of the earth and she's dangerous, She's a rebel....."

"She's an extraordinary girl, in an ordinary world and she can't seem to get away..."

Then there are songs I love just because of the wording and others because they are loud and still others simply because of the music and beats. I purposely wrote those 2 verses above because there are so many of us women out there that these verses describe. So many of us aren't afraid to speak our minds and aren't afraid to live life to it's fullest. So men, please don't be intimidated by us because we live loudly and freely...=)I refuse to live life whimpering under the chauvinistic ideas of cowardly males who, sadly, still exhist in our society. They are the ones who call us bitches and whores for living life as we choose. They put us down for having a voice, call us bad wives and mothers because we take time for ourselves instead of staying home cooking and cleaning. Please remember, Ladies, That we hold the power of the universe within ourselves and without us, humanity wouldn't exhist. For all of you males who think that humanity would cease to exhist without you, I have to remind you of something. Mary gave birth to Jesus without even one microscopic sperm of a human male! You may even be so arrogant as to say "well God is a male!" to which I can only wonder if God really is just "male" why did he give the female so much power? I believe God has no gender and chooses no side. How many men out there can carry a life and give birth? So who are you to demand anything of me?

Kiss,

Women are without a doubt beautiful, brilliant, amazing creatures there is no argument there. I do sense some anger or resentment towards men. God did not give all the power to women, he did bless them with the incredible gift of carrying life within their bodies, but that does not happen without a man. While their has been one immaculate conception, that would not keep the earth populated. It is possible to take pride in who and what you are, without belittleing the contributions of another. If I misconstrued the spirit of your post, than I apologize.

Love,
C

To StrtslowEndhot,

Thanks for reading my blog. I didn't say God gave women all of the power, only great power. I said that because so many women still don't realize what htey were given. I also pointed out the immaculate conception thing because I believe that God could choose to create a whole new population of people through immacutale conception. God doesn't need a male for that. I don't believe something like that would ever happen, but it's possible. I'm just trying to get to thick headed people to see how important females really are and get them to realize we are not meant to be JUST cooks, maids, chaufers, mothers, wives, sex toys and plain old homemakers. This message isn't meant to offend any normal man. I do find that the only ones who get offended are the ones who see women as second class citizens. There are plenty of men out there who freely respect us, then there are the ones who respect us in public places and show their true colors behind closed doors, then there are the rest of them who only see us as second class and treat us that way every day of their miserable lives. Those are the ones I seek to offend. I do resent men, but not all of them. I always give each and every one a chance to show me who they are.

Kiss,

You are right, there are too many women who don't realize their greatness or power.

I don't even get what ilikeshaved469 is saying with that quote could someone help me out and explain it to me.

To StrtslowEndhot... I think he's trying to put me down, so obviously I've offended him which makes him one of those men I talked about in my first response. Oh yeah.... SAM Died First...lol!

I think "nobody holds you back but yourself" describes people very well. It is for each individual to realize the gift of life and live it fully.

But it does seem like a "rebel" (regardless of gender) is hard to trust, never dependable, counter-productive, and unstable. While I celebrate your spirit, I want a stable, happy woman. But hey, maybe that's where I'm just weak.

Yea, Sam died first, but he was a "rebel" long before you.

kissnlik,

I can't see how you can feel that I am trying to put you down. In the first place, I never put anyone down, I may disagree with what someone asserts, but I always address everyone with respect. If you feel that I have failed doing that with you than I sincerely apologize.

I enjoy your blog, which is why it is on my watched blogs list. Your honesty really shines through on some of your posts, which is what I find the most compelling. I may not agree with everything you say, but I can appreciate the way you express yourself here.

I hope that you read this and take it, in the spirit that it is being written; sincerity
