Does sex cure loneliness?

Does sex cure lonliness? Sex can fulfill many needs, desires and wishes but can it fill the empty space in one's soul?
How many times is sex used as a blanket to cover the emptyness?
It is a wonderful covering and there are always new things to expore but when all is said and done, what is there?
Some find God (I knew Him once), others turn to drink or drugs. I cannot blame men or women for there weakness (if these things are indeed weakness)but I want to know if the lonliness will end?
I thought I had found my true love twice now and devoted twenty-six years to marriage, I was wrong. If not for my (now adult) children life would have no meaning. Can sex cure that?
No, I don't think it can, so, in the mean time while I work out this dilemma I will continue to seek the wonderful pleasure, the excitement of new situations and people. Filling my void by cunnilingus, intercourse, foreplay and cum.
I will gladly do this but I will remember the empty place until I find the cure. I know she is out there but where?
I guess I am a hopeless romantic, I seek the unobtainable. Does anyone remeber the movie, The Princess Bride? Wesly is mostly dead and the Billy Crystal character asks why he should bring him back. The answer was "True Love." His love for Buttercup and her's for him. Willing to die for.
Not merely to say some words from an unmeaningful vow.
Yes I am definately, as one of my former professor said: "an archaic romantic." He also went on to say: "this is not bad but you are living in the wrong time period." How true!
Well that is all the rambling I have for now. Feel free to give imput as all comments are welcome.
