I guess that's good and bad news, good that you're moving but bad that you have to find a place for your animals, what kind do you have?

Kat, about finding homes for your animals, I have heard people here in my town say when they are in this situation, have to move and can't take the pets, "some Vet hospitals" will take them and keep them for awhile, some of the clients that come in may want the pets! It may be worth a try, and since they would be handled by a Vet, I think they would see to it the owner would be good to the animal. I can imagine how you feel about that. I have taken care of animals all my life..since I was just a little brat! lol I have 2 house cats now...I hope you find someone that will be good to them.

Anyone who had a fenced back yard should love a retriever, especially if the dog is good with kids. ( Think of someone you would trust that has kids and a fenced yard, in THIS day and time, having a large dog around is a good thing...for protection. They may not be aggressive dogs, but will bark to let a person know a stranger is around!! If your cats are full time house cats....I know of people that have sneaked them into apartments. People don't know it..and they have their litter box, you don't need to walk them. It might work?
