That is a good movie. I just watched on Thanksgiving. Can't say I've had a disasterous experience as Clark, or even you for that matter. I presume you were have Thanksgiving dinner at your house that year?

Christmas Vacation is one of the great Christmas movies. My girls and i watch it every year - we are going towatch it this weekend. it is worth watching just to see that house light up.

Nearest thing that I have ever done to it was having Christmas dinner at my nan's in London. She sat 15 people to dinner at a table big enough to sit 6. No problem with chairs - just pull over the sofa and everyone on one side of the table sat on the back of the sofa.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story are my two favorite Christmas Movies. Great quote, kat!

My mother-in-law's cooking is a disaster. After I learned she was cooking the Thanksgiving turkey in October, I volunteered to cook for Thanksgiving and did it until we moved away.

Oh, ok. I saw that once. When it was released. I don't remember much other than they went to Europe.
