My first two days of work have gone reasonably well. No big problems and I am catching up from being off Thur and Fri. Talking has helped my jaw muscles relax and the puffiness of my cheeks is going away. The stitches are dissolving, too. My teeth and jaw are still tender, but everything is improving. I am still eating soft foods, but may have to go for pizza tomorrow. I haven't needed to take Tylenol in two days and that feels good. I haven't taken the prescription pain killer since the first day because it made me dizzy and VERY groggy. I think it might qualify as my first experience at being high! I certainly could not drive after taking it or even walk across the room with out holding onto things for that matter. The Dr. said I should take it for severe pain, but Tylenol for moderate levels, so from then on, everything was moderate to me.
All in all, it has been worth it. What other choice was there? Live with increasing levels of pain from bad wisdom teeth? Not an option. My advice is to do what you have to do to return to good health, follow the Dr.'s advice and instructions and get better. I am even back to working out each night. Life is good. Life is normal.
I have hopes for a fun weekend. Whether that involves any women, I hope of course it does, but even if not, it will still be a fun weekend because I feel good again.
