Membership lapse

I'm letting my premium membership lapse at the end of the month, since this was more of an experiment for me than anything. (I may change my mind, but I can't justify spending money to meet men, when reality is a woman can find a guy for free, fairly easily.) So, does anyone know if I can continue to blog as a standard member? I'm enjoying being able to write here, considering this is one aspect of my life I keep off of my personal site. Hmmmm...

As far as I am aware (having spent a couple of months as a free member and then deleting my old blog) you are still able to blog here as a free member... there are numerous examples of other blogs. It might be that you can't do some of the "fancier" things? I'm not sure in that regard as I haven't explored that side of things here yet.

(And yes - you are so correct... ANY woman can find a guy pretty easily... maybe not to keep, but at least for a little fun)

For straight up blogging as a standard member the differences are negligible from that of the paid memberships. The only extras the paid members get are tiny little 'bells and whistles" items that are more like extra cake decorations than anything else. But you still get all the important functionality that matters as a standard.

And if you never check out profiles or instigate email contact you won't miss a thing about the paid membership. But you might if you have any sort of regular habit with doing either of those two things.

But for not having to pay I think you get a pretty decent opportunity to keep a blog and get to know other bloggers.

And for something you might not see everyday stop by the Derailed Gravy Train of Eros when you have the time or interest.
