Back to my chronicles

So, with all of the hall of shamers, I've neglected my chronicles!
I'm still spending a decent amount of time with Jersey, we went out last Saturday night, and I drank WAYYYYYYYY too much. It was funny, because I was doing ok, and then WHAM, I'm wobbling and not really fit for public anymore. He decided it was time to get me out of there, got me back to his apartment, I promptly dropped my shoes and purse, stumbled to bed, and passed out. 6:30am rolls around, I bolt up, look over his shoulder at the clock, and FREAK OUT. I was still drunk, but I wasn't planning on spending the night, and knew that my husband was going to be none too impressed. I stumbled my still-drunk ass out to the living room, dug up my phone, just as it was ringing. I missed the call, texted back that I was alive, but still not capable of driving, and attempted to sleep off the alcohol for a couple more hours. Poor Jersey was such a sport, not only had I totally passed out on him, but woke him up at the ass crack of dawn. I made it home shortly before 10, and the hangover was no joke. *sigh* My new nickname is "Wobbles", thanks to the combination of alcohol and 3 inch heels, so now it's my mission to prove I can hold my liquor. I did joke with Jersey (who is very Irish) that I was simply proving my Irish blood, it was all in the name of the homeland. (I'm only about 1/3 Irish, but please don't send hate mail, it was just a joke!!) So, to make up for it, he came over to watch Rescue Me on Tuesday, since we're both big fans of the show. I guess I've partially redeemed myself, now I just have to redeem myself with his friends this weekend.

As for Deacon, our schedules hate each other. It really sucks, but hopefully things will calm down soon, and we'll get together. Of course, he probably won't take me out in public now that he's heard about my tendancy to make fun of people when drinking... I can't help it, the college kids and Army "Joes" are such easy targets!!

wobble is it... that is a good one, I have been given so many nicknames it's pathetic but none are from getting drunk that I know of. If you are bored this weekend and looking for something to do maybe we could grab a drink friday or saturday night I'm free and will be willing to drive out there.

Thanks Tanis, but I'm going to need a raincheck. This weekend is the hubs' birthday, so he gets me all to himself.
