Civil Duty to my Country!!

I cannot believe it!!!

I got summoned for Jury Duty -- be that it may, I missed it last month and have gotten called in the past....This time I got actually chosen as a juror!!

We were informed that we were to be there for 2 days for this trial..it took most of the first day to just get the jurors picked and seated. Has anyone else out there been through this?? What are your thoughts on Jury Duty? I hope that I don't get picked again when I'm up again in 3yrs. Although I fulfilled my duty and served as a juror (got paid a lousy $20/day), it was immensely boring and you didn't get quite the information you could...There were so many questions to ask and things that were left hanging--it was really hard to come to a conclusion on things.

I beleive that the majority of us just agreed to be done with it.

So, here's my question....Have you served on a jury panel and what was your experience like? Would you do it again (did you enjoy it)?

Glad to be back finally!!!

Jury duty is horrible. First we pay for a person to speak for us (lawyer) then we have to take 12 poor souls and make them listen to something they would rather not. Then to make matters worse they you $20.
