What to do

Have you ever had an unsettling feeling when you are about to meet someone for the first time? What to wear---what to say.....how do I look--should I wear something else....... It is an uncomfortable type of pressure we all put ourselves under. Why not just be ourselves and let everything else fall into place. When you meet someone for the first time for coffee or dinner and are very interested in the other person as a bi-curious or lesbian---do you shake hands at the end of coffee....do you hug....what do you do? Has anyone ever had a first meeting that led further??????? Please ENLIGHTEN me.......

If the meeting goes well and you get the vibe that the relationship might go further, a hug, or possibly even a kiss, might be appropriate. If otherwise, the handshake will do.

I'd first say "go with what you are comfortable with". Both in dress and prep for the meeting, and in how you are during and at the ending of the meeting. I'm a hugger, but I am not one to plant wet kisses all over someone I've just met, too. BUT, I've had first meets where the lady extended the parting hug with a kiss that turned nice & wet at her initiation ... that was a certain signal that she was INTERESTED in more! And before I ever give that initial parting hug, I will ask like this "I'm a hugger, may I give you a hug?". No one has ever said no, but a few were like hugging your maiden aunt too, which is an equally effective signal that there was no chemistry.

Just my two cents worth.
