winks - waste of time

Seriously, does anybody respond to winks. Are they a complete waste of time and should I even bother?

Inquiring minds want to know.

for me, once I've rec'd a wink I will immediately go to the profile of the person that sent it.... 1) is their profile filled out...that alone will cause me NOT to responde if it is incomplete. 2) are we a remote match up? Not looking for "same" straight across the board, but a few similarities (especially sexually) would help. 3) what does their profile say? How does it read? Can this person write a complete sentence (shows more than a few brain cells are sparking at any one time) What is this person looking for? a 1:1 sort of relationship? Friends with benefits? convenience fuck? Nothing wrong with any of the above, just be open about it. And finally, their pic. If all they have is a pic of their dick.... I'll pass on that alone. Better to have none at all in my book. (please keep in mind this is just MY opinion....) I am the type that prefer a pic of clothed...just an everyday sort of shot. I can go with sexy, daring.....I could care less about a crotch shot. So, hope that helps from a woman's perspective........ happy hunting and good luck..............E.

Thanks for your comment Katey. Something to think about.

If, due to profile updates, I'm unable to send an email, I'll send a wink. If someone winks at me and I like their picture, I'll peruse their profile and go from there. If I don't find them attractive (or they have no pic) I won't respond to their wink.

every time i log onto here i have about 30 winks, so its too much hassle to actually look at them all, they just get deleted

Well, I'll send a wink, but won't expect anything to happen. I'll also receive a lot of winks, but being a standard member can't really email many people.

I'm usually here mostly to blog and make friends. Oh, yeah, and not to forget flirt shamelessly too

I'm getting a feeling you are feeling pretty disillusioned here. Don't expect too much from this place at first...that's all the advice I can give for now, I have to run.

OK, I think I need to think about WHY I'm sending winks, rather than taking the time to send a considered mail.

Probably because I'm new(ish) to the site and my expectations are a little high.

Again, thank you all for your comments and thoughts and visiting my humble blog.

Grlfordaddy.....I`m very disappointed you just delete the winks you get. I`m a basic member and when i wink to you it means i think you`re f*ckin gorgeous, and as well as treat you like a goddess i want to give you the greatest sexual experiences you`ve ever had in your life, and lick, suck, fuck and eat you for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper...plus loads of "snacks" in between!!!! xoxoxoxoxox
