Summer Blues

I should try to tune my guitar and play as an outlet. At least that would be an option for an outlet of my emotions.

Well, I have my car back and it's running. The water pump was replaced, thanks to my best friend,naughtynate77,for buying the parts, and my son,menace192002,for fixing it.
One of my favorite things to do on the weekends was to drive around checking out new places, Considering the gas price of $3.17+ per gallon for premium, I will not be driving anywhere but back and forth to work, and to the bank one day a week. My Buick takes premium, I think, because it's supercharged.

I enjoy being on the computer, but I enjoy it more when it is an option I choose over others.
Lately, it's my only source of amusement. My TV interest is limited because I only get two channels clear enough to watch and I do not have cable.

There are two men I would like to see more from this site. Three men, if I include my best friend. I am tempted to post their handles on here, but I will not, for their privacy.

Meanwhile, I will just be on here posting to my group and blogs while cooking foods from scratch and listening to Wisconsin public radio. Today's challenge is what I can make with lamb stew meat with what I have on hand in the cupboard.

Ok, enough said, have a great day!

I am in a rut when it comes to cooking lamb. I tend to cook it in a tomato base(diced tomatos, tomato soup, etc) and serve it over Greek pasta or rice. I found a 15oz can of diced tomatoes and a pkg of Knorr tomato and basil soup, a package of Greek pasta #3,galic,pepper, and dried hot peppers in the cupboard to use.
I browned the lamb and then poured all the ingredients(except pasta) over it and cooked it for two hours.

Summer blues are no fun.

Jamie, you are very blessed. Nate is a good person. You have some real positive friends in this group and it seems they really enjoy sharing their keyboard with you. It is enlighting to read what you all write to each other. I really know no one and yet have felt welcome to share my 2-cents.

I, now, feel somewhat spoiled in that I just bought a shiney new car (kind of like a going away present from a loved? one.)

Where I am staying now I get seven channels though I just have not watched any lately. (Dish at my old house)

Summer blues for me? None/some. One - I enjoy cooking to no end. Right now I have a sauce pan and a frying pan and really not much incentive to cook anything.

I just try to keep moving on - and hopefully make friends along the way.

Blog away!

I am in te same boat.Besides,I dont worry to much about the television anyway.I have one,but I hardly use it.I have enought to take up my time.

Yummmmm, the lamb sounds great.I have'nt had that in years. My grandmother use'd to make it every once in a while on sundays.
