The blogging two step boogie.

I have discovered in the last several days that my epic posts will not go through as a first draft. So maybe the chapter concept will work. Yesterday's two step maneuver did work, hence the chapter idea. A boogie implies that I can dance, there is nothing further from the truth. I give you the Post Shuffle.

Since I'm celebrating the fact that I have successfully bent the rules, my shuffle on greeneyes'marvelous post on The Five Remembrances violates the fifth Remembrance, new subject. What is everyones take on this summer's movie releases and is the continuing trend of remakes a positive or negative impact on your movie dollar.

My son and I did go see Batman Begins, which was not a remake in the classical sense. (Note: remake and classical do not substitute for one another, my use was for flow not content) The movie did easily put the other Dark Knight's attempts to shame. The focus was on Bruce Wayne and his developement into a crime fighting boarder-line psycho. This was closer to the true intent of the comic books.

The Hollywood mindset is if we produce it without a great deal of thought, the public will come. Come on "The Honeymooners", "Bewitched", "The Longest Yard", and finally "Herbie the Love Bug" when will it stop? Don't get me wrong some remakes will be good, but at least control the flow of remakes. Othewise our next blockbuster movie will be "Mr Ed Meets Petticoat Junction". Where's the fresh take on violence and sex, it's a summer movie not fucking Shakespeare for the love of God. Any thoughts?>>>itsallfun1957
