Sexual prowess and brain size OMG!

Ok folks it's official, a long running study has just concluded that Bats with the greatest sexual prowess typically had the smallest brains. I swear I couldn't make this stuff up, it was just on the news/ radio.

What impact will this study have on evolutionary theory?

ahhhh simple comparisons of evolutionary mating strategy may explain this....

I assume bats don't have much of a mating ritual or pair for life as do animals like geese and lions. So if your brain is smaller, thus lighter, you can fly faster and chase down more potential mates than your competitors. As an aside, the male preying mantis supposedly screws faster after the female bites his head off - thus no brain at all. I think we've all seen ducks mate (much more like ). If you think those drakes are courting the hen, you probably carry a big club and have stone walls in your home. For ducks and presumably bats, it's all about the chase/pillage/plunder of forced screwing.... remind you of a particular website???. Small brains work for them.

Now advance to the supposedly more advanced human species and reconsider the strategy.... which one works best? the "hey baby, wanna get lucky" (ducks) , or the more cerebral romance techniques of wooing and swooning? lol What works for bats, ducks and cavemen is no longer the standard of genetic fitness as demonstrated by the "evolved" human male sporting a wry wit, a caring touch and seven figures in the bank

If you need further proof, visit one of the AdultFriendFinder webcam rooms and watch the masturbating monkeys attempt to mate.

IQ trumps the Harley in all cases except the Jerry Springer Show audience! (yes, I am trying to ignore the fact that the Springer audience from AdultFriendFinder is multiplying faster than lemmings in Alaska!)

I'll take kinky sex for 1000, Alex!
