p r o c r a s t i n a t i o n

I am a professional procastinator. The higher up on the chain of priorities, the longer it takes to get it done. That's why I'd love to have a professional lady, but never do. I'm sitting here, mouse pointer hovering above it, just trying not to do the double-click-'o-death on my TurboTax software. Next to me sits a 4 square foot section of brown paper grocery bags filled with reciepts. I am far too cheap to go back to a tax service. Last year I used one and ended up re-doing my taxes on my own because they took my small underpayment and made it a large underpayment. I had a decent CPA but he's up and moved to FLA to retire. Sweet guy, got me breaking even for the last few years. But its crunch time now. I'll probably owe in the amount of 6 - 8K, and its not a good time for me to make such a payment, since I'm trying to buy a house. And its too late for me to defer anymore into any shelters for '05 (I believe January/February was the cutoff, or is it April?

Anyway, how bad are they gonna get you this year? What bracket should you be in and what bracket were you able to use? I should be in the top bracket but I'll drop middle of the road somewhere.... I hope.
