Cool air, fresh in the afternoon,
- air after heavy rain.
The earth is green, transparent.
The light, bright orange
diffusing through light-blue clouds.
The leaves shiver on braches
that sway nostalgically.
The birds chirp before
retiring for the day.
But You do not breath the air,
You do not hear the singing,
You cannot touch the moisture
on the soft grass.
Your eyes cannot capture
the orangeness of the light.
Your heart is in an iron cage,
tighly bound, a prisoner
in forged restraints,
electrified by the intense currents
of your cyclic suffering,
endlessly revolving
around the same pain,
like a small dog chasing its tail
but without the playful smile
or the face that could be
dressed in it.
Without that which is You,
a panther roaming free.
The outsider inviting the trapped,
crying himself with the tears
of the panther, feeling,
watching every move,
craving for the panther's freedom.
But only the panther holds the key.

This is a simple poem based on
real experiences. It has a small obvious
reference to Rilke. If you understand it,
then it is written for you.

Papy, thanks for the comment!
The cage is not impossible to
escape but the one inside
must find the courage to open
the door.
