To Tell or Not To Tell - Previous STD

What if you had a std, not that any should be considered "minor" because its important to stay clean and clear of them, but there are some that get a lil antibiotic and then its gone. This situation in this question pertains to minor std's.

Some are non curable... like the herp. 2 - aids etc. (i think you should always be honest with those)

So the question is, if you are in a relationship or just starting one, you know you do not have it anymore it was treated by a doctor and it had been years as much as 10 plus years or 6 months ago... do you think you should tell? even if you have been checked numerous times sense and there is nothing, a total clean bill of health?

Tell, honesty is the best policy
Don't Tell, it was the past and they arent in danger of getting it
Not Sure, they may not trust me to be clean now and leave me
Wait see where the relationship goes, maybe consider telling later

The only reason I say "be honest" is that you never know when something is gonna come back and bite you, and you're better off if you were up front to begin with....

i voted for "be honest", but i wouldn't think it should be stated in the first email, that might set someone to running, before sex yes, in the early stages yes, but after they had gotten to know you a little, maybe suggesting going to get std tests together or seperatly, would give you a reason to bring it up at the same time
