Hatred has to go!

Did you know that there are actually parents, who teach their children to go and scratch the neighbors car! They breed hatred, with every fiber of their being, and it consumes them! Jealousy and resentment, in every lashing of that violent tongue. There are groups of peoples who terrorize entire neighborhoods, running the streets they occupy. It is sad for me to see, and I wish I knew what to do about it. Young men are killing themselves off at an alarming rate, and this will further widen the gap of males to females. When you breed this hatred into your children, you are securing their place in our prisons, and institutions. They are only teaching what they were taught, but that is no excuse! We have to take the good from our childhood, and leave the rest behind. We have to make the change, and stop the cycle with us. It is a choice! In fact, take all the good from everything, and leave the bad. Things are not always a package deal, and we are not ever committed to being an asshole! We can stop at any time! This is the car they have been scratching! Why would anyone do that?

i'm with you on that point dear. we all need to strive for a better tomorrow for our childrena dn grandchildren. the world is so screwed up right now because of this fact. i can only hope that i have( and will continue to) done my fair share with my kids and they realize what need to be done and why. as for your question about the car...could be jealousy or just that was the random pick of the day/night. also, could be something deeper like a problem that arose between kids or parents, who knows. just hope everything works out.

hope everything is going well for you dear. i'm sure it's been a tough time with all you've gone though and are going through. will keep you in my prayers. take care.

ditto with dreamweaver darlin. You deserve better than that, but life's unfairness is directly correlated with it's randomness. Dont let this get at you for any more than it's worth. Hatred or not, kids will always still be reckless, and test their boundaries. I say this from experience as I had my fling with random mild vandalism, but I was never hateful, just indulging my risky side with a couple of friends and a bad idea. Got caught, paid dearly, experience noted "bad".
But still you are right as far as choosing a better world for our future begins with our choices now. Same goes with government and voting locally first, federally last, as the balance of power was intended from the beginning / our own children need to be taught to undertsnad and live the golden rule every day, one at a time, and one-by-one, the world becomes a better place overall. Love hearing your comments....good and bad both. You've got a good head on those shoulders.
Glad to hear your doing well. I'm sure not alone keeping you in my thoughts daily. Best wishes for your health, and don't be afraid to level the consequences on those little bastards when you're up to it.

I think the finger can be pointed in several directions. First and foremost, it's the parents. However, another part lies with the current way teachers are taught to teach....confusing enough? For a while, I was an education major, and it was pathetic. Teachers aren't "allowed" to be real teachers and discipline students or teach them the norms of society. They're to make them all feel warm and fuzzy on the inside and let them walk all over you. Okay, sorry about venting a bit.

I agree hatred begins at home with the parents. Children are not born with hatred of a child laying beside them, regardless of race, creed, color, religion and so on. Hatred is at times due to the unknown. I wish we had more people in the world like you, that would like to see hatred snuffed out. However until we teach our children not to hate someone because of their race, creed, color, religion, sexual orientation, we as the human race will still have hate in it. Good luck in your pursute of peace. Take care and May God bless.
