tough decisions

Been a long time since I posted here and there really is nothing of interest to share. Have done some reading of other member blogs and made comments.

I did go away this weekend, at least for part of it and had a good time. Recieved an interesting offer and have got to think seriously about taking it. It means relocation and some lifestyle changes, but all of them good. I think.

It does call for some degree of commitment, and I am not sure I am ready for that. Do I give up the freedom I have now for the security the offer represents? There is truly nothing or no one keeping me here. There is only myself to be concerned about, since the children are grown and gone. And should I decide to accept the offer it is mutually beneficial to both of us.

Guess I have a lot to think about...

Life is about changes. Nothing remains the same. Opportunities come and go. If you don't take this offer, will it be something you regret in years to come? If so, go for it. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Most of us have routines that we sometimes hate but give us stability. There is happiness in doing the same things, seeing the same people. But there may come a point when it's time to move on. Only you know.
