Close call.

We went to the big city of Tri-Cities, Wa. fogetting that we are fro a small town of 5,000. I started to back out of a parking space and nearly got hit by another car. Even got the finger! In our town people will stop and wait for you to back up, wave to you when they see you (even if they don't know you). No one is a stranger long in small towns. Its sad that its something that most of our grandchildren will not be able to experience. No one is in a hurry, slways willing to stop and chat or lend you a hand. When we moved into our home in the spring our neighbors came over with a hot meal and hot fresh baked bread, one bought two bottles of wine!! Everyone is friendly and willing to help in any way that you need help. A pleasent place to live. Still hot, 95 at 4 pm.
