In the eye of the beholder

Are you stuck on physical beauty? Some friends and I were talking and here's what we decided. Phyical beauty can be taken away in a second. If you are the one only interested in the hard body, will you be disappointed as you age? Would you leave a partner just because they are not as pleasing to your eyes? I am 41 now, and I have to say that I have watched my friends age, some gracefully, some not. The same for them about me. Although I haven't aged in my facial looks( I still get carded for my smokes), my body seems to have a mind of it's own. My breasts once pointed forward, are now starting to enjoy a southerly view. Other parts of my body seem to be listening to my breasts as my shape is changing also. Pounds are not as easily shed and go on way to easy. What's up with that?

Everyone also agreed, that they would much rather have a person to love them and be their companion in old age than to never have loved at all. In the end, it won't matter what our looks are, it all comes down to the heart. So when I read profiles or email about how great their bodies are, I would much rather hear about what kind of a person they are, their interests, and dreams of the future. Average is what I am and I am okay with that.

You and your other friends are absolutely correct, hornymuff.
Besides, what attracts one person may not attract another. People are funny creatures

So true, on all accounts Hornymuff and Bohica. Perhaps that is why the blogs are a good place to get to know the person behind the picture.

Take Care
