Mary and Mary quite contrary

There has been a big flurry in the media and a lot of public statements from the Catholic church about the new movie The DaVinci Code. The big issue did Jesus make a woman, moreover a common woman his partner in life, faith, and ministry? The implication is that the Catholic church with its paternal heirachy are way off base. You see they place women in a subserviant roll and this position is adopted by a lot of other sects as well.
Well this is where the pulpit and I part company. I not only believe that the blood of Jesus is able to fully redeem us, but I also believe that Adam was more culpable in the fall of man from grace. Saying it was Eves fault is like saying it was Monicas fault Billys cock ended up in her mouth. There is such a concept as undue influence, and knowledge a forethought.
In the mean time the clergy are all looking like a bunch of perverts. They wouldn't be having these problems if they would allow priests to marry and women to preach. Do you want to know where the real power is? I told you before about feeling unseen forces at the Winchester mystery house. Well there I am about 16 at Disneyland sitting on a bench when all of a sudden like sitting next to a high voltage transformer I can feel power. It jerks me to my feet and I look around to see what set off the panic button. On the obverse facing benches a group of nuns had sat down. I'm not sure but I think it was coming from one specific lady. I could feel her presence, and it wasn't frightening or evil. Us guys get so caught up in the ways of the world that it is no surprise that a woman has more patience to cultivate a prayerful relationship with God, and there is a God. The Papacy are looking like they are suffering from dogmatic paralysis, while the laity moves to more prophetic and visionary churches.

I Swami Johnny see's all, knows all, tells very little.

women are all to blame...that sums it up so they put us down for centuries... I was raised by a woman that had a strong faith. My mom was tossed from relative to relative as child... and went in the convent as a young woman..lucky for me and by 3 bros and 2 sisters(catholic ok?) that she decided that it wasn't for her. She raised us to be strong and independant. BUT so did my father..I never heard womens work in our household.. you can't do that cause you are a woman... But I also never got to be an alter boy..(I think I wanted to way back then).. I did toy with the idea of being a nun..(but went in the Navy instead) KInda like running in the opposite direction! the church was always a part of my life its my faith..
