Ouchie

Well were back from Jamaica Mon I brought back something I really do not want or need a wicked SUNBURN oh me oh my I be burned to a crisp. I gotta go to work Tomorrow and the simple thought of a shirt on and a seat belt across my chest is causing me to cringe! Any one know a good relief from sun burn all ideas greatly appreciated.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Fold a paper towel, and soak it in a bowl of this. Blot it on all over the burnt area. Takes the red right out. It doesn't stop you from possibly peeling later thought. Glad you guys are back.

Aloe vera gel. Cut off a leaf and squeeze it right out onto your skin. If that's not available, hawaiian tropic has an aloe and mint gel that works wonders.

OUCH!!!
I was going to suggest the vinegar trick, but Angel beat me to it. I hope that it is starting to feel better by now.
On a sunburn as bad as that one, it is hard to keep it from peeling, but it you rub on a lotion that is high in vitamin E it will help it heal faster. Just make sure it is a lotion that doesn't have much alcohol in it.

Sorry I'm late for this but having worked construction I know all the remedies. And one I found that worked the best Witch Hazel, it is like the vinegar w/out the smell. It is available in any drugstore
