Just got back today!!!! YAYYY ME!!!!! Was a pretty good flight, with a few terrifying moments thrown in there just to make you appreciate that your still alive. I knew I was in trouble when I had to walk to the plane via the runway, did I ever mention I have this unbelievable fear of small planes??? The person I was always closest to in my life died on a small plane, my grandmother, or adopted grandmother to be more specific, she was taking my grandfather to Roswell Park Cancer Hospital and was on her way back home to pack some things and drive to Buffalo, when the plane crashed.
She was 47, drove a motorcycle, took belly dancing lessons in the church basement and was always someone I could talk to about anything, I felt like I lost the only person that really loved me the day she died. She was a hell of a piano player and she was suppose to teach me to play but appears God had other plans for her.
Still thinking about you Grandma and miss you SO much, even all these years later.
Anyway, onto happier thoughts, the plane was only flying from Buffalo to Pittsburgh but I don't think I ever had to pay that much for a roller coaster ride, lets just say I said a few prayers.
Thanks to everyone for keeping me company and responding to my blogs while I wa away.

Welcome back Darlin...now before you unpack, have a drink to settle the nerves from that flight. I remember being on a commuter flight from Cincinnatti to Akron/Canton when I went home for my dad's funeral nearly 10 years ago. Damn I was never so scared in my life!!

Glad yer home and glad everything went well in NY

Damn Scott, knew there had to be a catch, not a drop of alcohol in the place.
You know you might be in trouble when:
1. you wonder if the super glue holding the propellers, yes thats right, PROPELLERS, to the aircraft will make it to your destination...
2. your about to ask the stewardess, are they just pressurizing the cabin or is that smoke coming out of the above console normal?
3. Your VERY serious about saying to the above mentioned stewardess let me off this plane and I'll take the big, normal plane scheduled to leave 5 hours later.

Welcome back hun, glad everything went alright. As for small planes when I was in the army i flew on a plane that I was surprised it made it over the trees. Then when we got to San Angelo there was an ice storm the night before and the runway had about 1/4 inch of ice on it. By the time they got the plane(if you could call it that) stopped it was sitting off the runway and they had to come out and hook on the tail and pull it back on the runway. What a ride, after that I made sure that the planes were jet's and other than that I drove!!!!
