So Much For Friendship

So I'm a little on the slow side occasionally.
Sometimes, there are real friends and sometimes there are friends until you meet another male/female, then you suddenly become non-existent.
So, that said I guess I fall into the second category. Occasionally you wish people would be upfront and tell you like it is, but under the guise of being a nice girl/boy they don't tell you that.
They should be honest enough to say look, you were never really a friend and if it's all the same to you I think we should be passing acqaintences. Thats fair enough right? Don't let some smuck think that they really mean more to you than just someone that you talk to when you're bored, while the truth may hurt a little at least it lets you know where you stand.
Not a problem, I finally got the message loud and clear.

I think everybody has been treated like that at one time or another. Friendship means different things to different people.... but once you find a true friend who knows and has the same values as you ( honesty, trust) then you have found a friend for life!!!

Hello Niceguy;
Yeah it's just REALLY been one of those weeks when not much has been going right. Have seriously been thinking about taking a break from all of it.
Received an email recently from some guy, essentially the email said "for someone thats received 1123 responses (not sure how he came up with that number, must be confusing the numbers after my s/n with the number of responses) anyway, for someone thats received that many emails I'm thinking you just don't know what you want, I'm thinking he just may be right.
Guess I'm just trying to figure out what I want and where I want to be say a year from now.

Thanks girlfriend, just hurts a little when the truth really hits you is all, disillusioned. Is ok, should have been more realistic, live and learn and stop living in my perfect little delusional world.

Not being sure of what you want not always a bad thing and is fully understandable. That at least leaves you open to the myriad of possible choices out there. At least you are out looking. You can't find anything if you don't get out, trust me on that one. And the only way is to find out and try, hopefully not get hurt too bad but hoping to find something good.

LOL whats wrong with living in a delusional world

lol niceguy, I do LOVE my little delusional world, it keeps me entertained, but sometimes I have the strangest thoughts. I just have to get myself back on track I suppose, when I moved here 9 months ago I had specific plans, I haven't done one of them yet. Hopefully that will be resolved soon, depending upon what happens in NY.

It is so easy to get side tracked. Unbelievable have fast time can fly.
Good luck with NY and think happy happy thoughts

Sorry chica - his loss I'm sure. I know it probably doesn't hurt any less, but we've all been there & all you can do is move on. Wishing you the best on gettting on track with your goals.

NO Cleavis, I wasn't thinking about the guy from NY, well not in that way anyway. As I told Niceguy, just doing some reassessing, trying to figure out how I got to this point and how to move on to what I really want.
