No Pain No Gain

whoever said that needs to be hurt REALLY bad.

I recently started a phase in life called the "new and improved me", this has involved having my ass burned, among other parts of the body (tanning salon), yeah I go in nude and hope they actually clean those things well so there you go for the visuals. I don't have the patience to fry in the sun, 15 minutes vs. 1 hr you do the math. Also started going to the gym on a daily basis, two days straight now, I usually make it a week or 2 and then start making excuses, like I broke a nail or something, have to take off about 25-30 pounds and tone up. To have the skin elasticity and metabolism I had when I was in my 20's I swear I'd never take it for granted again.

Still have to go out and buy those roller blades, weighing the how many bones can I break in one fall options though. Also attempting to get certain nameless people (you know who you are) to join me in my masochistic endevors, *tapping foot*. It's always good to have a buddy sytem for those days when you REALLY don't feel up to it, somebody that'll say hey you remember that bag of Fritos you scarfed down, well now it's time to work it off.

I'm also watching the fat calorie intake, how long do I have to be on that treadmill to work off that Hershey's Kiss? Just how bad do I really want it.

I taped up a playboy centerfold on my fridge, you know, potential goals, I'm not completely crazy though, there is no way in hell I'm ever going to have the body of a 21 year old again, but I'd be happy with late 20's or early 30's.

Anyway will let you know how it goes.

Heaven - know this - When you start seeing the results from all of your is like a drug. you want more and more. The fist step is the hardest. just keep walking now. don't stop! I'm proud of you sweetie! No pain, No gain! LOL!

Ahhh, a subject I can comment on with
1) Heaven, join me one Saturday morning on Indian Rocks Beach - you'll change your mind about tanning booths - it's mental health therapy sitting there - chillin, and tannin', and swimmin' - I swear by it!
2) The gym is a neccesary evil - but I hope you can do better than me in the consistency dept. I joined (AGAIN) about 6 or 7 weeks ago - went from 219 lbs to 203lbs in the first 3 weeks or so - but now back up to 210. The key is going when going when you're not in the mood... LOL
Poet is right - it's a drug - the more results you see, the more you want!
PS: Don't forget to wear leather this weekend

I'm making progress, I actually saw the outline of a rib!!!! Haven't seen that in awhile. Whats with the leather Tone? Um provided I come yep I'll probably be wearing leather but was thinking more along the line of a skirt this time.

Heaven, wow just the other day I created In A Slump that talks about the very similar things you have just described in this blog. Check it out, perhaps it may help you along the way.

Heaven you can do it and if it helps, i think anyone who has seen you in those leather pants certainly doesnt view you as harshly as you see yourself

and add me to the growing list of people making an attempt at hitting the gym again...ballys sent me a tempting offer to renew a contract i had long ago...i think its time.
