...'n cut a six inch valley through the middle of my soul...at night I wake up with the sheets soakin wet, and a freight train's runnin through the middle of my head..."

I'm on Fire.

Bruce Springsteen writes about desire and passion like few musical artists have. I woke up with the words of that song in my head, tossing, turning, aching this October morning.

But I am also filled with a sense of adventure at th e path before me. It has been quite a trip; I will keep writing until this furious need to explore ends.

Look out World!

This woman is gorgeous through her verbage. I can only imagine what could be better. Keep tossing...it turns the soul, and keeps us all awake.

Hey Heavenly, what good taste you have! I've been a fan of The Boss ever since "Darkness on the Edge of Town". His concert at the Tacoma Dome a few years back was the best I've been to. Enjoy your blog and I'm looking for a lover to cum in and "Cover Me"! Ahugh

why, ty ahugh! another favorite of mine is dave matthews...he writes and sings with such dark clarity...juat be careful listening to him in the middle of the night; his words can torture your soul.

tori amos, tracy chapman and sara mclaughlin also speak to me.

Hey Heavenly! I like dave matthews as well, not as much as The Boss, but did enjoy "Some Devil". And I wouldn't look out for you, I'd look forward to you! Ahugh

From the album Born In the USA. I'm sure all of us that have lost a pasionate love can feel the lyrics in "I'm on Fire". As time heals us maybe we can then sing "Tougher Than the Rest" from Tunnel of Love.

Well It's Saturday night
you're all dressed up in blue
I been watching you awhile
maybe you been watching me too
So somebody ran out
left somebody's heart in a mess
Well if you're looking for love
honey I'm tougher than the rest.....

Tori Amos is a great poet/piano player, reminds me of John Lennon in not a few ways.
