Seattle Music Scene

One of the best things about living in Seattle is the music. Just last night we had some major shows playing. I chose to go see Minus 5, Robyn Hitchcock with special guest Sean Nelson (yum). I have always loved going to the Crocodile for shows and as I saw the Minus 5 before I knew I was in for a treat. Wow, blown away as they played for almost 1.5 hours before Robyn came out for a bit to play and was rejoined...over 3 hours of live, "feel your heart jerking to the beat of the music" show...amazing! I recommend them definetly if they hit your area.
Some major names in music and humour to boot. I thought it would be a great concert. The 10 Years (1st opening band) = really good... Mudvayne (2nd band) should have gone first because then I would have missed them, they sucked.

Korn of course was Korn. Body thumping, mosh pit extravaganza. Finishing with a 5 song encore which was in some respects better than the rest of the show itself. They had some great visuals on. One of my faves was a baby doll running on a wheel, slips, falls and gets grinded by the cogs and the head pops off and flies through the air. I know doesn't sound appetizing but really funny.

Excited, been trying to get Strokes tickets for three weeks. Heard on the radio yesterday it was sold out. I tried one last way to find some tickets and it paid off. Not only did I get tickets but I got tickets for the floor!! Woo!! I was so excited I almost wet myself..(in more ways than one) I will let you know how that show is. (4/4)

I hope you enjoy the shows.

None of those bands is what I listen to.

Not even close.....

Industrial anyone?
