How Long Do You Wait

So, how long do you wait for someone before scraping plans of being with them? Now when I mean wait, I mean wait, no call, no email, no text message or any other contact of any sort. When have you been stood up.

For me I generally wait about an hour. I try calling the other person in about 30 minutes. But when all your attempts to find out what's going on fail, when do you write off the situation.

In a connected issue, is there ever any excuse that can be given that will justify the act of inconsideration? In today's wireless society it is so easy to just pick up a phone and call, that there seems to be no excuse (short of death or tragic accident or very personal emergency).

I want to know, because I seem to be flexible about this sort of thing, but it irks me when it happens.

Depends on the time frame I have available but I usually wait about fifteen minutes, especially if this is a first contact.

I wait 30 minutes no more...or less if i am feeling truly aggrivated by the entire situation.

I wait about an hour. Everybody works on "Island Time" here in the Cook Islands!
