HAPPINESS IS NOT A GRAND ILLUSION

HAPPINESS IS NOT A GRAND ILLUSION. IT IS AN EMOTION, A STATE OF MIND, HOWEVER, TEMPORARY, IT CAN BE REPLICATED AND REPEATED AGAIN AND AGAIN. IT IS NOT ALWAYS CONNECTED TO ANOTHER PERSON IN A RELATIONSHIP OR IN ANY CONTEXT RELATED TO ANOTHER PERSON. IF IT IS CONNECTED TO ANOTHER PERSON, WE OFTEN FEEL THAT THE OTHER PERSON HAS THE POWER TO AFFECT WHETHER WE FEEL HAPPY OR WHETHER WE FEEL SAD. WE OFTEN REFLECT UPON THAT PERSON AND THEIR DIFFERENT MOODS FOR ELEVATION OF OUR HAPPINESS INDEX. HAPPINESS IS A WARM STATE OF BEING AND IT DESERVES NURTURING BY A WORTHY PERSON. TOO OFTEN WE GIVE AWAY OUR HAPPINESS TO SOMEONE WHO WILL DEFILE IT AND NOT RESPECT IT AND THEN WHEN THE FLAME OF HAPPINESS HAS BEEN EXTINGUISHED, WE ARE LESSENED BY OUR OWN FOOLISHNESS IN ALLOWING SOMEONE ELSE TO STAMP IT OUT, OFTEN TIMES FOREVER. AND FOREVER IS A VERY LONG TIME.
