Into the 20th century!

Well I'm finally moving into the 20th century (Yeah I know it's the 21st Century, I'm just still a century behind). I went out and bought a computer today. Up to this point I have done all my web browsing using WebTV. WebTV worked well for me for the last 5 years. I've been meaning to get a computer for a while but found myself in need of one. I am taking a CNC programming class and need something to practice on at home. I've done selling on eBay, but now I can post pictures and stuff. I am likely going to eventually post my picture on my profile so everyone can see me. I had a dealer at the casino get glasses and told me that she could finally see what I looked like, and then followed it up with "you're kinda goofy looking aren't you". I just agreed. I gal I work with thought that I look like Charlie Brown and suggested that I get one of those yellow shirts with the black zig zag stipes. I found one on eBay and love to wear it. I don't look as much like Charlie Brown as before, since I lost 25 lbs. I'm at 170 lbs, 5'8". If I learn how to use this thing correctly I could end out with blogs that have smiley faces. Woo Hoo!! Actually one of my posts had smileys by mistake. I tried to type eleven o'clock like 11:00, with the colon and I got a smiley. Well I guess that is it for my first post on an actual computer.

Note: I will probably still browse with the WebTV, since it has a remote control and I can use it with the left had while my right hand is busy, lying down on the couch. Trying to operate the mouse with the left hand is too difficult for me.

Well I hope your profile pic is going to be of you wearing the Charlie Brown shirt so that we can all get a look!

TabithaElectra79: I wasn't planning on taking a picture with the Charlie Brown shirt, but if that's what you want that is what you will get! It'll give me practice downloading photos from emails, etc. I'm sure the gal at work will take my picture and then email it to me.
