Whats in my cd player right now

Disc 1 - Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth
-The Newest release by Trent Reznor Captures Every Thing I've ever wanted to say about the state of our goverment and deals elequently with the personal stuggels we all face daily-

Disc 2 - HIM - And Love Said No
- A greatest hits cd spaning 1998-2003. HIM is a finnish band starting to gain popularity in the U.S. thanks to the efforts of Bam Margera. Their Music focuses on the theory that one can't experience love without first experiencing pain and that they are forever intermingled-

Disc 3 - Failure - Magnificent Planet
- One of the best albums of the 90's not much more to be said if you're not familiar with the band or havent heard the album check it out -

On the way home today, I was listening to King Diamond's The Puppet Master. The CD itself is a story. Each song is a part of one spanning story. It's a tale about a man who is turned into a puppet by an evil puppeteer. The story is even sadder because the main character's love intrest is also made into a puppet, and are separated towards the end. It's a sad tale. Sad and scary. King Diamond is known for making scary stories into song.

Come into my realm! You aren't afraid...are you?

THanks for this space...I dig.

My Disc 1: Frank Zappa: Hot Rats; Manily intrumental tunes but very kooky, incorporating kazoos and such. SOunds like a 70's sit-com theme at times.

Disc 2: Gorillas: Demon Days; their new album. Every song is distinct and pure in it's own way. I like this group becasue the members are always changing and the head mind tries to stay out of the limelight as much as possable allowing for the music to be the focus. I wish all bands did this, then we would have less crappy bands and probably no Mtv...not sucha bad thing.

Hey, what is Failure all about? You havae ne intrigued...think I'll googge them....

Currently Ive been listening to the replicants disc. It was a project consisting of ken andrews from failure, year of the rabbit, on. Greg edwards of failure. maynard even does a guest vocal on silly love songs a cover of the paul mccartney wings song. the entire disc is covers but reworked covers, if you can find it it is highly recomended

I listen to many genres of music.Still listen to a lot of reggae since I 1st heard it around 74.As I am typing this "Don Omar Reggaeton Latino" is playing. But I still prefer early Roots Reggae. Also in CD player is "Maggot Brain" by Funkadelic. And "Funk Power" by James Brown. Not a bad selection for a 53 year old fart I guess! But The Stones are still my fave since I was 12...yeah,I know, uncool to you kiddies.Masseur 0 mentioned "Hot Rats"...great one..."Willie The Pimp"!Marley said something like "one good thing about music, when it hits you you feel no pain".
