Running... what a feeling!

I'm a runner a long distance runner and probably even somewhat fanatical about it. I try to run at least three to four times a week if at all possible. I would run more frequently but I have been accused of becoming to thin when I do. To compensate I will try to make my runs last as long as possible and so will run for one to two hours each time. I'm currently able to maintain a 7 to 7.5 minute mile pace without a great deal of stress to my body. Sure there are days that my legs feel like lead but I run anyway. I feel so wonderful at the end of a run that it makes it all worth while. It can be pretty lonely at times since I run by myself most of the time but that also gives me time to contemplate and unwind. The extremes in weather that the winter and summer months bring can discourage me at times but after the first fifteen or twenty minutes out I've totally forgotten about it. I definitly have a love hate relationship with the nearby track and for that matter of fact trail with huge hills. On the particular days that I use those venues I feel like I have cheated myself but I know that in the weeks to come I will be much the better off for doing it. The fact that my body might look good as a consequense of all this is a great benefit. If your ever need a running partner for that long and lonely run give me shout.
