The Difference of Making Love & Having Sex!

Many people who are on this site confuse having sex with making love. And making love is confused with sex. When a person opens up to you 100%, that is on the way to love making. If that person doesn't open up, then they are or may only be their for sex. Having sex is straight to the point, rough, limited foreplay, and very in and out. When people make love it begins to take over the heart and body. You can't wait for the next move. The foreplay is great and things more slower, deeper, and more passionate. So how can people confuse the two when they appear so different? I would like input to see how others feel and think about this subject topic.

My belief is that most people lack the confidence to truly give their entire self over to someone else.

It's too scary for many people to expose their soft, white underbelly in that way.

In order to truly make love, you need to completely give yourself to the other person. No worries. No regrets. Just you and all of your baggage laid bare for the other person to do with as they wish.

In the perfect scenario, the other person recognizes your willingness to bare yourself and responds in kind. This is the beginning of the love making process.

Anyone who still believes that a one-nighter with someone they met at a bar is an accomplishment has never made Love.

Once you've had the real thing, you never go back.

Oh, and also.... many people use the term "making love" as a euphemism for "fucking". They have yet to learn the distinction.
