animalistic Instinct

I spent some years working with men doing what might be concidered men's work as the labor was hard. They, being so much stonger than me, I was forced to get creative in accomplishing the same work as them, and because of that I became respected for it. After you hang out with a bunch of guys you somehow become one of the guys and they become more free in their speech and topics. They knew I was ok with my size, not buff but bigger and not the type to be insulted by their views and stomp off. We started debating the subject of hot women.

I know that it is an animal instinct for a man to spread his seed around. I know that it is, without thought, natural for a man to seek out mates that will produce the most successful offspring, hence they seek out the fitest, most attractive women to give their seed to, even if conciously having a child is not in the plan.

but then, I get frustrated with men not being able to look past the skin and so I become conflicted. My rational mind fully comprehends the biology, my emotional mind does not understand it.

I remember a time when in the back woods on a backcountry job, the guys making this comment...A joke to laugh at and yet something to take in with more concideration.

"Fat women are like a moped. They're fun to ride and you have a good time, but you wouldn't want to be seen on one."

Well, I am not easily hurt as I truely beleive all have their own preferences, I just get confused over my emotions on the matter and the facts. The joke? Only words. Everything with a grain of salt. I have my battles but convincing men that they need to be attracted to someone they are not is not one of them. I give guys a hard time though but not something I hope they get insulted over. I think I feel sorry for the beautiful women who must deal with all the many horny men who want nothing more than to get in their pants. Those woman are in reality the ones stuck with the short end of the stick. I have some friends who are constantly bombarded by men everywhere they go, and these friends don't think themselves hot over all the attention. They are quite miserable. Not taken seriously. Have to prove themselves as more than their beauty. So, neither wins really, the guy doesn't get the girl, the girl is feeling like a cheap piece of meat, and us average folks are going along in life, relax and enjoy, and just feeling fortunate that we still have lots of guys to choose from, just not the shallow notch on the post type.

"skinny models? you can keep those. I like them big corn-fed midwestern hoes."
