Language barrier

I have been trying to meet with nice people here in Germany but I am finding that I am not getting any responses. I don't want to think that this is because of me (who would want to hurt their ego?), so I figured that it must be because of my lack of German language knowledge, although this has not been a problem for me before in France or Italy where several 'friends' didn't speak a word of English.

Because of this, I am interested in meeting people who know a little English.

Does anyone else have these difficulties, or is it just my profile?

I look forward to hearing any thoughts or meeting with anyone. Until then, keep well and enjoy life.

Hi ,
welcome to Germany, and to Blogland.

from our experiance if you want to meet, have your profile written in German, although , a lot of Germans speak English , not many (just like English speakers) feel confident enough to write in a foreign language.

To follow on from the suggestion of GB Cpl, is there anyone who could translate my profile and allow me to have a German option for the locals? I would appreciate it.
